Cardiac Science AED G3 has serice light on yet all

Cardiac Science AED G3 has service light on yet all diagnostic tests through RescueLink software are normal, except for one failure "Latest AED failure: 0x77". Changing battery or pads does not reset. Unit will still function but beeps every few minutes and states, "Service Required" upon startup.

Depending on the manufacture date it is most likely in need of the 2005 AHA software upgrade. You might be able to get it for free from Cardiac Science or you might have to send it to a service company. We can do it. 8009894909. Call Cardiac science first and give them your serial number.

If I know CPR, do I still need to have an AED?

Yes. The AED provides an electric shock to the heart, which is the only thing that can resume a normal rhythm to a VF victim. If someone is going into cardiac arrest, CPR will only buy some time until an AED arrives

I want to know how to do a basttery check on Philips Defibrillator. I know that it gives out a chirping sound when the battery is low. Is there another way to check the battery?

. This Philips M3863A battery pack will last up to 5 years. These are non rechargeable battery's. The unit does a self test.

When we connect leads to patient no thing out in ecg paper however before conncting this leads there is noise see in screen

hi,
check the patient cable. if there is any break ( inside ) in the lead it will this problem can occur. also check is the patient cable properly inserted in the socket or not.
if any lead is broken the ecg will not print, also show interference in the display.
try to change the patient cable.
