My printer says INcorrect Cartridges

Okiz...try to do a partial reset on that on---press and hold the # 3,,while the printer is on....if problem persist do a power cycle....unplug the power cable of the printer for about 20 sec. and turn it back again....semi full reset restores the default settings and refreshes the registry press and hold the # 6 while plugging back the power chord to make it on...okiz...have a nice day

My printer continues to say that my left cartridge is incorrect and my right cartridge is incorrect. I have misplaced my printer booklet.

- Make sure you are inserting the correct cartridge versions for your model. The Lexmark X5470 uses 32 or 34 black cartridge and 33 or 35 color cartridge.
- Ensure that both your cartridges have plenty of ink in them and not empty.
- You can also try to insert different known working cartridges to determine if what you're currently using is faulty or not.
- Try to remove the cartridges from your printer > close the printer cover > unplug/re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it > when the printer turns on, reinsert both cartridges.

Replaced new ink keeps saying right cartrige is incorrect wont let me print. the cartrige is correct i paid $50.00 for a two pack of black and color ink!!!

Wiping the nozzles with a moistened soft cloth or removing and reinserting the cartridges usually helps. The cartridges for the Lexmark X7170 are black: 32/34 and color: 33/35. If these are the cartridges that you purchased and even tried your old and new cartridges yet the problem persists, please don't hesitate to contact Lexmark technical support.

Dell 924 printer, installed brand new correct cartridges and printer says left cartridge incorrect.

Take the cartridges out and turn off the printer. Then clean the inside with a clean dry cloth, do the same with the cartridges, then reinstall the cartridges and start the printer. See if that works.

I have an printhead error for no reason. Please advise. The message says "The type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print head.

There is always a reson. Try checking that the cartridge you installed is the correct one for your printer. Some refurbished also cause this problem as they have been recycled too many times.

Right cartridge incorrect message on 924 printer.. even bought new cartridge (yes the correct one) and message still appears

I have to ask this question of you, just to make sure this is not an issue. Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
Please consider the following:
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.
If you are using factory new cartridges, then please call the manufacturers Technical Support for assistance with the warranty on the cartridges

Reading incorrect color cartridge

Please let me know whether you have replaced the cartridge with a new one or you have refilled it.

If it is a new cartridge than try below mentioned steps :-
Remove both cartridges (even if the message indicates only one cartridge
Unplug the printer.
Inspect the cartridges:
If the cartridges are new, make sure the protective tape has been removed completely.
Make sure the cartridges are not damaged. If the copper-colored electrical strip is torn or punctured, the cartridge must be replaced.
Make sure the cartridges are compatible with the printer.

Reinstall the cartridges
Make sure each cartridge is in the correct slot
Make sure the cartridge is snapped into place and the latch is closed
Close the front cover and plug the printer back in.

If the steps above have not solved the problem than Wipe the copper-colored electrical contacts with a clean, dry, lint-free cotton cloth
Reinstall the cartridges, close the front cover, and plug the printer back in

New cartridges do not work in Lexmark 3550 Printer

Are you sure that they are installed correctly, seated, etc.? Do you have the right cartridges? Have you aligned them?

Lexmark x6650 will not identify new cartridges

Please contact Lexmark Technical Support and let them know that you need two replacement cartridges for the two defective ones you have.

Make sure that you purchased factory new Lexmark cartridges, not cartridges that have been refilled and repackaged by a third party company.

“Lexmark does not support the refilling of its ink cartridges. Refilling the ink cartridges can cause them to leak, thus clogging or even damaging the print head. Any damage to your printer caused by refilled ink cartridges may not be covered under warranty”. Please use genuine Lexmark cartridges for best results.
