Question about LG VX8300 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Dropped phone, now it won't power on.

I dropped my phone and now the damn thing won't power up. No physical damage that I can see, battery fits correctly, back stays on. Nothing seems cracked or out of place. Any suggestions.

Dropped phone. No external physical damage but phone will not turn on. Removed and put battery back in. Still no response by trying to turn on using button in upper right.

hi ,if your fone has a warranty take it back to them. or to a technician who will heat the fone up so any points of lose contact to bond again.

Pull the battery and put it back. Best bet is if you're within buyers remorse period get it replaced if your device was purchased new you should have 1 year manufacturer warranty that will cover frozen screen as long as no water damage or noticeable physical damage.

My Samsung Messenger 2 was dropped into a glass of pepsi and has a few serious problems as a result. The menu screens keep advancing on their own, cycling through each of the choices and moving on......

Unfortunately you have dropped your phone into a weak carbonic acid solution, it's almost the worst thing possible. The residues will continue to corrode the insides of your phone so there is no way to save it now as the physical damage is well under way.

If the Pepsi was the regular type and loaded with sugar, then those deposits will have just made matters even worse.

Why does my phone say sim crash

There is a physical issue with your Sim card reading: Sim may have been slightly dislodged if you accidentally dropped or subjected your mobile to vibration: in most case, just remove the battery AND Sim for a few minutes and carefully re-install both Sim (make sure it fits squarely in the socket/cradle) and Battery and Cover. It should reset the phone.
Hope it helps!

Yes, if it was dropped in water, most probably it would be dead. but moisture damage can also be local, damaging only a part of the phone, from air moisture, or a splash. Why won't they replace the phone under warranty? if it's only local moisture damage then it's damage from reasonable use. it's not your fault that it's designed to allow air moisture in. Have them replace the damn thing, don't worry about such things when you have a valid warranty. don't you? good luck
