The 366IS appears to mount a Trigem Florida-TG/TGA motherboard, which does not support LBA48 access to disks larger than 137Gb. You can try to format the hard disk, either on the 366IS or on another computer, so that the first primary partition is 130 Gb in size. You lose the rest, but the hard disk should work. To be sure, burn it in by write-testing it using any one of the many freeware "hard disk diagnostics" boot CD's.
Hi, Try and get the Windows xp cd fromyour friends or colleagues. Or else if you can download the software ican provide you the link. but its a long process. You need to downloadatleast from 7 links starting from CrystalXp v2.part1.rar to CrystalXpv2.part7.rar. After that click on any one of the file and burn it incd. To burn the cd you need Power ISO. install it and using this burnthe Windows Xp. And then install the Windows Xp operatring system. Ithinh from here you know the procedure to install. when you cleaned the HD you did eraser some of the software that was on the hardrive that is need to do the Quick restore and know the only way to fix this is to installe a new copy of windows and look up the drivers for the motherboard.
Check your BIOS settings, specifically the diskette drive setting. Next, check the cabling to the drive itself.
Your problem may have nothing to do with the diskette drive, but check it out.
Next, have someone download hard drive diagnostics for the brand of drive in the machine. You could have errors on the drive, and a diagnostic program may locate, repair them.
