If you have got the top off, with the mains lead unplugged, gently rotate the cooling fan blade on the end of the motor, whilst looking at the shredder blades. you should see the blades moving very slowly. make sure the blades are rotating upwards, to clear the jam.

Try saturating left over paper with shredder oil and let sit for 4-5 hours or more this should soften paper enough to remove easier although it may be a little messy
