My acer aspire 5920 will not power on!

My acer aspire 5920 will not power on with battery or AC. When pressing the power button, I get a amber light flashing a couple times then nothing? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Thanks for using FixYa. You will need to reset the Laptop if it is not starting up. Follow the procedure as under to reset it---

Remove all connections to and from the laptop. Now remove the battery and press and hold the power on button for 2 minutes. Release the power on button. Slip in the battery pack. Plug in the power to the laptop and to the wall. Please do not plug in any other devices and now try the Laptop powering it on to resolve the issue.
