My Dell 1600n suddenly stopped printing. It keeps saying "No paper," and even though I've changed papers, fanned it, squared it, changed how much, how little.............it still says "no paper."

I had the same error, i found when i would take the toners out it would only recognize my yellow toner as missing, none of the others would show as missing, i replaced the yellow toner and it was fine after that, the yellow toner happened to be a remanufactured toner and had a different toner chip on it as well. also just an fyi,the dell 5100 color printer is a rebadged xerox 6250.

Try to re-install the driver for this printer. Try to go here. Let me know if that works for you.

Dell Laser 5100

Means the Yellow Toner Cartridge is not communicating with the printer. If you've installed a third party yellow toner cartridge, go to the Dell Printer Configuration Web Tool to set the toner to non-Dell toner. If it is a Dell cartridge, the procedure is to turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds, and turn the printer back on.

Dell 5110 004-310 reset printer error

This may not solve your problem but it did mine when I got the "reseat cartridge" error. I had inadvertently ordered the cartridge for the 5100cn, which looks exactly the same as the 5110cn and actually fits if you order the generic version (the Dell 5100cn cartridge looks like the 5110cn but doesn't quite fit).

So, first make sure that you ordered the 5110cn cartridge. (And if you need two opened 5100cn cartridges, I've got them up on ebay :( !!!!)
