Question about Maytag Neptune MDE5500AY Electric Dryer
I have a loose baffle in the tumbler of my dryer. Can I get to this by removing the front cover of the dryer?
The top cover is fastened by spring like tabs on the machine rear. the front edge of the top merely clips to the front panel. the top needs to be removed to gain access to the bolts that hold the front panel on. these are inside the top corners of the machine. once these are out, the front cover should just pull up to remove. there may be a light connection and the door switch wires here too. then you can get to the screws that hold the baffles in place.
