The other day the Mrs. attempted to heat up some food without knowing there was tin foil underneath causing a small fire. She managed to stop the microwave and shut off power at the main breaker box. Now the unit will not power on. I tried unplugging the unit, waited 30min and plugging it back in. The power socket should be good, I plugged in another device and got power. I just replaced the fuse, thinking it popped, still no power.

- I already replaced the fuse and still no power. I made sure it match with what I had, 20 AMP ceramic. Was $3 at Home Depot.
You will need to replace the 20 amp. ceramic fuse inside the unit. This is real easy and the fuse only cost around $10.00 You will find a break down of your unit at www.partselect.com just enter your model number and a break down will come up. Your part number is PS2052772. You can also locate where the part goes. Good luck.
