Question about Brother HL 1240 Printer

Brother HL 1240 laser printer eats paper

This printer has been working fine for several years but now occasionally will bunch up the paper in the feeder and we have to reach in from the back and pull out the wrinkled up paper. Any ideas of your to prevent this or is it time for a new printer.

Continuous problem with my HL5140...paper light is flashing, but there is nothing in path! Started doing this about 1 year ago, but becoming more frequent with age. Hmmmmmm?

As laser printers age occasionally the pickup rollers need to be changed. Other possible problems include non-visible paper jams (In which case you would need to disassemble the printer to remove) or even maintenance counters that have run down.
