Cannot turn off Auto Adjustment... message.

My 15" Relisys LCD monitor keeps coming up with the message: Auto Adjustment when I have certain windows open. the power button does not work either and when I do press this the message re-appears. The only way that I can (temporarily) make this message dissapear is by removing the power cable from the back of the monitor and re-attaching it. I have tried changing the resolution, the driver is up to date, re-booting with all power cables dis-connected etc... nothing seems to work!! :(

Please help!!!

Re: Cannot turn off Auto Adjustment... message.

We have several of these screens and last week 2 of them started to exhibit these faults after 3 years of use. We have never had a problem with any of them before.

Lcd monitor working fine but the adjustment screen apears on my monitor in a small square enveloppe how can i restore system thanks in advanceDewulf Jan

I assume by "adjustment screen" you mean the OSD (On Screen Display). This is the box where the menus for adjusting the screen appear. If I'm correct, that means you have pushed the "menu" button on your LCD and need to push it again to turn the OSD off. If pushing it again does not solve the problem I would say it's time to have the LCD repaired. In many, but not all, that OSD goes off on it's own after a bit.

The words 'Auto Adjustment' keep appearing on the monitor screen. If I pull the mains lead from the monitor screen, it temporarily clears the message, but it soon returns. Help please!

hi, How do u do?? You must select the right resolution for your monitor, if you tell me the exact model name, I will tell you which resolution is best for your monitor. usually the last option in resolution list (windows resolution setting) is the prefect one, but sometime it's not correct.

Pl. solve my problem "PROCESSING AUTO IMAGE ADJUSTMENT" message display continusly

I've tried all ideas by removing this ,,processing auto image adjustment'", but all of them was not working. So, i found truly and simple solution: The problem is made of constant autoself incorrect working button ,,Auto/set". This button is near ,Turn off/on monitor". Eventually you need to turn off this button, but there is no solution to do it, but i found one - i used hair clipper to press this button PERMANENTLY. And it WORKED, and also no screen buttons are working

Urgent problem with my relisys monitor, please help!

sounds like an overheating problem. you can try blowing out the back of the monitor, or putting a fan close to it. If it is really dirty it will shut itself off so as to not get damaged. is it crt, or lcd?

I think the pincushion of your screen needs adjusting and this can only be done internally. If it is a brand new monitor return it otherwise find a competant technician. Hope this helps.

some how your screen resolution has changed above or below what your monitor can display. you need to boot your computer using another monitor that can work with the resolution your computer has switched to(i used a spare crt monitor when it happened to me) change your resolution in display properties to a normal level like 1027x768, and while the computer is on swap the monitor cables to verify the lcd is working.
It is perfectly safe to unplug the video cable and plug it back in while the computer is turnned on.
