WUSB54G drops connection frequently with 2Wire

I connected the WUSB54G to a desktop. Installed all drivers. Router is 2Wire 1701. Got a solid "Connected" indication. But the internet connection drops very frequently. When I called Linksys tech support, they said it is a 2Wire problem. When I called 2Wire tech support, they asked me to connect with a cable. That worked. So they said it is a Linksys problem.

Anyone faced this problem before??
