Question about HP Photosmart C6180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

1 Answer

Reprinting photos after working correctly for a while, the printer now does not print photos to accurate size.  When trying to copy a 4x6 photo, the printer reduces it and prints a small photo on 1/4th of the 4x6 paper.  Have tried with other paper sizes and the software continues to reduce the photo to a 3 1/2 x 2 photo.

Re: reprinting photos

Try using a ruler to check if you have the correct paper size.
open up HP Solution Center verify the printer settings..
use borderless printing, paper size 4 x 6.

I can not get the 4x6 paper to feed into the printer during the printing process. the paper shoots through and the printer. screen says the paper is incorrect size. i am using kodak ultra premium photo...

Kindly place the paper in the photo paper tray and then place a photo on the scanner glass of the paper and press copy.Correspondingly,if you are printing from computer make sure that you select 4X6 in the printing properties or preferences while printing the pictures. Your issue will be solved.Keep me posted if you are facing any problems.

When I print pictures on the 3210 HP all-in-one, they come out very small even though I choose the 4X6 in paper size for the photo tray. I've tried everything I can, but the pictures keep printing wallet...

First thing that comes to mind is that a 4x6" print could print four wallet sized photos; be shure your are not printing more than one copy.

If you are trying to print more than one,it will print the actual picure you have and leave space for the number of other nonexistent prints selected.

See page 75 of the Manual. for directions on how to set up photo printing.

If you have photoshop, you can resize your documents using the menu item, Image / Image size, (Alt + i then i again)

Set the resolution to 300, then the document size width to 6 or 10 inches.

This will guarantee that your document is full size, (though the printer should be able to resize it to fit on the page no matter what).

Give these a try. It's really a shot in the dark, but it's my best guess.

Printing 4x6 photos on photo paper

Sorry but your question seems to be unclear.
Here are the solutions that I see:
- try fixing the orientation of your paper on the printer:
-- go to printer "properties" then select "paper" then set it to
landscape or portrait. You might just have to cut the extra
- try changing the paper size on the printer "properties" if it has
no 4x6 then choose "custom size"

Only 4x6 tray prints clearly

For this concern try pressing "copy+cancel" for media calibration then try again, make sure you have an A4 paper loaded. If this doesnt help you out try using the Kodak website and use "image quality" for class.
