Computer will not wake up from sleep mode

Best way to restart it from wake up is remove the battery (if it is a laptop) or push the power button for at least 10 seconds (or more) until you can't see any lights at all or any sound from the hard drive. That is the only way you can restart the computer if it is not waking up from sleep mode.

Mouse idles, takes a full second to "wake up."

Hi. Normally gaming mouses can come with some software that will help fix that issue and make it more comfortable to use but as we all know this is not a gaming mouse. It sounds like the optical sensor ( bottom of the mouse) is either dirty or may just be bad. I have looked up the mouse and overall it has a lot of bad reviews. A lot say the mouse dies in 1 month. My best suggestion is to return it if you can and get a better one.

Some ideas - ( around your budget )

How can I wake my computer from sleep or hibernation?

On most computers, you can resume working by pressing your computer's power button. However, not all computers are the same. You might be able to wake your computer by pressing any key on the keyboard, clicking a mouse button, or opening the lid on a laptop. Check the documentation that came with your computer or go to the manufacturer's website.

Can't wake the computer

Probably there is no connection between your keyboard and mouse to the CPU. Check for proper connection of your keyboard and mouse. If the connection is good, probably there is the problem with the cord that is connected with your mouse or keyboard.
Turn off first your PC before making any connections.
After you confirmed that there is no problem with the connection, probably the problem is at your mouse or the keyboard itself.
