My acer al1916w displays the image for 3 seconds then goes black
my acer AL1916W displays the image for 3 seconds then go black.
when i dont use it for a long time it displays the image for about 30 secs before it goes black, but then everytime after then its only 3 secs before it blacks out.
anyone know how to fix this?

- i know its not my video card because i've tried dual monitoring and having it single monitor and nothing. I have it securely fastened in too. Anymore thoughts?Solution #1

Sounds like your video card. Check to make sure it's connected properly. If so, check to make sure it's properly seated to *********** board. The possible issue could be the card is connected enough to display the picture, but not enough to communicate with the monitor to stay on because it has an active feed. Best of luck fixing it
