Wing buttons won't work

My son says the system was dropped by little sister and the right wing button will not work. We were playing Tetris the other day and he was excited that it did work some but nothing you can count on. I hate to buy a whole new system for this reason, can you offer any solutions? I went to the nintendo web site but they don't have this problem listed anywhere.

Your best option is to call 1-800-255-3700 and ask for technical support they might need you to send in the unit for repairs.

My sons mate tried to take my sons profile useing a usb now the xbox dont work it comes up and this code 22FB.3080.2200.0700.c000.0034 so how do we fix the problem...

Got any more specifics? like was it a transfer cable or a usb flashdrive? Does it boot up at all? unplug all the cords (wall to box, box to xbox) unplug the hard drive and make sure all the little brass connectors are clean and even spaces apart. Plug it all back in and see if it boots, if still nothing, unplug the hard drive and see if the xbox boots by itself. that's all I can wing at the moment, let me know if that did anything please

How do i fix the start button on my gameboy color? its sort of old but it work like last week. and now the start button just isnt working and i keep pressing, but nothing

The contacts are probably dirty. What you need to do is take your Game Boy Color apart and clean them. Unscrew the six tri-wing screws on the back (4 in plain sight, 2 behind the battery cover. Take off your batteries). If you don't have a tri-wing screwdriver a small enough flat-head one works fine, too. Take off the back plate of the GBC. There are three phillips screws holding the main board in. Remove those too. Carefully lift the board and turn it to the other side (don't try to remove or damage the ribbon connecting the screen). You will see the contacts for the buttons. Clean them with a soft (hopefully lint free) cloth. Sometimes scratching the grime through the cloth works. After you can see the contacts (4 for each button in the case of Start/Select) reassemble your Game Boy following the reverse steps. WebRepOverall ratingThis site has no rating(not enough votes)

White Bottom Screen

The bottom screen is fiddly to replace, but easier than the top one lol. Get a cheap screen off Ebay/DealExtreme and DIY - DIY guides are on YouTube. Specialist tool needed is a tri-wing driver.

Nintendo ds lite 'A' button not working , how to repair?

If it is just the pllastic "A" button you can buy a set of replacement buttons on eBay for a couple of euros with a trihead screwdriver and simply search youtube for a tutourial video on how to remove the screws etc.

If the "A" button is still in one piece and in the Ds unit you have danaged the underlying button pad which is embeded in the motherboard and can be exspensive to sort out. If this is the case you would be better trading it in against a new system.

Power button failure

  • Power Light Shuts Off
If the power shuts off during game play (even as much as 30 minutes after the system is turned on), then turns off and won't turn back on or the fan isn't working, the system needs repair.
  • Power Light Flashes
If the power light flashes once when power button is pressed, then turns off and won't turn back on, the system needs repair

Down button doesn't work on nintendo ds

You may have to open it and clean under the pad, or put the pad back in place under the button.
Here is how to open it:
Under the buttons is a rubber pad. A black puck under the rubber must line up to the contacts on the circuit board.
You need one special too, a tri-wing screwdriver (available on ebay).
