I have the same problem. I suspect the drain line for the auto defrost is clogged and so the water is dripping down into the fridge. (The water from the auto defrost cycle is supposed to drain into a pan under the fridge where it evaporates over a period of a few days). I have yet to locate the drain line though.

the drain tube from the freezer to the lower compressor area is plugged with ice or debris, and when it defrosts the water in the drip pan behind the evaporator back cover inside the freezer thaws and cant drain down and overflows down thru the damper vent door to the refrigerator, remove the rear panel inside the freezer shut off unit and let thaw, then take a wire and work it down this drain hole till water comes out at the bottom of this drain tube located in the rear

Our freezer is defrosting and leaving a puddle of water on the floor. The unit is 1 yr old..

Don't know what type of model you have but most have a hole for a drain in the back bottom of unit to drain down to a pan under the unit. Look for this drain opening. It's either clogged with food or frozen water. Clear away debris and pour boiling water through and see if it drains into pan under unit. You may have to do this several times.

GE Profile leaking onto floor

Clean the drain pan and drain line in the back of the freezer section behind the cover underneath the evaporator coil. (hint: use turkey baster with hot water) Make sure water drains when you pour it in. If it doesn't - also clean drain tube on the back of the unit behind the cover. When done - put the tube exactly where it was.
Good luck! :)

I have a roper RT21AKXGW00 refrigerator and water settles in the bottom of it and in the crisper draws, is this some sort of blockage?

I have the same model refrigerator and don't have a solution but I think I have more information on the problem. In mine, water will leak periodically from the condenser leading up to the freezer (inside the refrigerator, at the top, center, back of the main compartment). I have seen it leak and it isn't a constant leak but when it leaks it can pour out at a pretty high rate.
In mine, the water will collect in the deli drawer (near the top), the crisper drawers at the bottom, and under the crisper drawers. When it happens, I use a sponge to soak it up and wring into a bowl.
To minimize the impact, I have set up a cup or dish near the back of the fridge to catch the leak. I empty this every couple weeks or whenever it fills up, but I'm looking for more information on a fix (I think the problem has to do with the condenser - that's the lead I got when I found this post).

Water in bottom of refrigerator coming from freezer (not really sure of the exact model as I'm not home to double check).

If water appears on the floor in front of the refrigerator once or twice a day, it could be due to a clog in the defrost drain tube. The usual evidence of a clogged drain in a side-by-side refrigerator is ice under the bottom basket in the freezer compartment, in addition to a puddle of water on the floor.
