A01 warning on constantly. Just appeared dont know to fix

Exactly the same problem - A01 error for the last four days.  I have tried filling the salt, the rinse aid, checking the outflow for waste is clear.  Still get the error even after 'soft' resetting using the reset knob on the front.  I may try 'hard' resetting by unplugging/switching off the electric plug.  And I will keep searching for a definite answer on the error definition and solution for the A01 error code.  Kate,

ok.  I found the Indesit error codes web site.  Here is the A01 error code and suggested solution:

A01: float switch activated.  Call a service engineer.

It sounds right, as my dishwasher was internally flooded, and flooding the kitchen floor when the problem occurred; sadly due to family popping in dirty dishes with waste food - which then temporarily blocked the outflow.

I hope this helps.  The full list of error codes is available at:

    http://www.indesitservice.co.uk/hs/pages...

I plan to try a 'hard' reboot with the power plug, then call and ask Indesit if there is a customer fix without a service engineer call out.

Have you checked there is no water in the base of the machine?

There is likely a float in there which activates a microswitch turning on the drain pump.

You could try tilting the machine through 45 degrees and see if any water comes out.

It could take only a cupful of water inside the base of the machine to trigger the safety switch

I have had this problem from time to time and is usually caused by the water pump.
Other solutions included taking the machine out slightly and rocking it from side to side, a small amount of water will pour out but only a little, but since then I have found an easier way..
Just get a rubber sink plunger, remove the filter at the bottom, make sure there is water in the bottom and then use the plunger to push the water through..
Each time I have done this it works fine.

My electric system is going totally crazy on my 97 sebring jx. It constantly dings that seatbelt noise, it also rattles and is very bad on pot holes and rough streets, i dont know if i should get a new...

The seat belt noise issue is possibly related to the sensor box under the front seat that they are all connected to. Also controls the airbag light and 'ding' warning for that. Cost is about $300-$400 to replace.

I'm trying to install my stereo and i dont know what wire is the constant power or acc power in my 93 cavalier

Hello djcarter_19,

Here is a link to the '93 Cavalier radio color code. It appears that the 12V constant is "orange" and the 12V switched (accessory) is "yellow".

Hope this helps.
