Controllers my xbox is working fine and dandy but when im playin a game i want to play two player and i put the other controller on and it just flashes around the green xbox symbol what do i do to fix this

Check if parental controls is on,you won't be able to play the game if the ratings in parental control is not allowing the E rating.

have you tried the options menu and set the remotes on the games maybe they need adjusting or something

Its possible its your cable on the controller, if you have another wired controller take the cable off that and put it on the other controller and see if the issue persists. If that fixes the problem you will need to purchase a replacement cable or just another controller.

If that doesnt fix it and the other controller works fine then more than likely its a hardware issue inside the controller and without alot of electronics knowledge you will have to just replace it.

umm in your words yes your xbox ate it did you move your xbox at all when you were playin it?

i would suggest getting a new controller anytime the controller acts up like that there is something wrong with the circuit board and when that happens your controller is screwed

it hapends with call of duty on most peoples xboxs

check your batteries and if that doesent help try going on to setting and go to controller wireless setting or something related to that and look for hook up options and try messing around with the hook up options see where you get from there if nothing happens write back

Try doing this. It should work:


1. From the XBOX dashboard screen, go to settings and then parental control.

2. When prompted for the password, perform the following sequence using the XBOX controller: X, Y, Left Trigger, X.

3. Enter in a new password, or disable parental control entirely.

Sounds like an electrical short in xboxs usb port.
check the brick if it has a red light you need a new brick. if not, try unplug the controller from the console and remove the faceplate and try turn it on.
