Hello,
Once you enter an equation the corresponding equal sign is highlighted by default. Before you draw the 2 graphs, move the cursor to Y3 or Y4 and verify that the = signs for Y1 and Y2 remain highlighted. If one is not highlighted, move the cursor on it and press ENTER.
If you still have problem, press [2nd][STATPLOTS][4: PlotsOff] [ENTER]
Command PlotsOff echoes on main screen. Press [ENTER], screen displays Done.
If all else fails, just reset the RAM by pressing [2nd][MEM][7:Reset][1:All RAM][2:Reset], press [CLEAR] to clear the message.
You shouild make it a habit to clear the RAM every time you start a new type of problem.
Hope it helps.
Testimonial: "Clearing the RAM really helped thanks! Now I can show my students what to do. "
This behavior is characteristic of the Transform application for dynamic graphing. It draws a family of curves for different values of a parameter.
When it is used it takes over the graphing from the native OS. Since it is designed to draw many similar curves, only one function can be activated in the Y= editor screen. The change of the value of a parameter will generate several curves and no place is left for the other Y= function.
To recover the normal graphing, Transform must be unloaded from memory.
To do soPress the Apps button.
Scroll down to select Transform
Select it and press ENTER.
A screen with title Transform Running appears.
You will be prompted to continue or uninstall the APP (may be QUIT).
Select the option to Uninstall (It will not delete it, just unload it from memory)
