Re: mikomi

Heyo.....Vista should find it right away. I have a bluetooth usb adaptor and had the same problem.... I found a site that helped me download a driver made for vista.®/tested.html

However that was last sure to do a google search for the Manufacturer of you adaptor (dongle) first along with the words "bluetooth usb dongle vista driver" in the search bar.

Good Luck.

I have a cd, personal roots deluxe. it says windows95 installation. can i install this on windows vista home premium

If the software was made to support Windows 95 and above, it wont hurt to try and see if Win Vista will accept and run the program properly. The worst thing that can happen is that the installation will not complete.

The software might be too old to run properly on Win Vista, or if it does allow it to install the graphics may seem really old and funny looking - but it won't hurt anything to try and find out.

Good luck!

How do I put Bluetooth on my computer

Hi there,
Just follow these simple steps to solve your problem:
1. GO to Start Up -> My Computer -> Right click -> Properties -> a dialog will pop up

2. Choose the Hardware tab and look for device manager. [You can also find it by accessing Control Panel]
3. If you can find a Bluetooth device installed in the device manager you are good to use it. Most probably you won't find it since you have this problem so go to the next step.
4. Go to an electronics store and buy a Bluetooth device. It will come with a driver on a CD.

5. Plug the device in your USB port and insert the CD with the driver in your CD-ROM. Install the driver and you are ready to use your Bluetooth device.
Hope this helps, wbwTeam

No software to activate my MIKOMI Keyboard

These are general instructions but all keyboards are basically the same installing them.

If it's wired just plug it in and reboot. The system will find the keyboard and load the right drivers.

Do exactly the same with a wireless keyboard. plug the receiver into the computer and then reboot.

But first of all install all the batteries in the keyboard and the receiver if they require them.

Then somewhere on the keyboard [usually underneath it] you will find a reset or tune button. Press that and then the retune button on the receiver. Then reboot so it finds the keyboard.

After doing all that,
It will then probably ask you to reboot after installing the software.

In theory it should now all work!

if it doesnt work

just add keyboard as a normal plug and play device windows will install HID drivers and they will work perfectly

if none of them work try to get a adapter so you dont need to use usb if you are using desktop computer

What do you have to do to load the CD's from Chic-Fil-A

Most cd's like you described should automatically start it's install program when you put it into the cd drive. If not, here is the next steps:

1) With the CD still in the drive, Open Windows Explorer.
2) Click on "My Computer"
3) From this list, locate the CD or DVD player
4) Double click on the CD or DVD drive
5) Look for a file like Setup.exe. and double click on that.

That should get you going.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa.

Got crosley CR-249 for xmas. no cd in box to install

You have a warranty? I would call the company you bought it from and tell them that you had no CD. They will probably replace it.

Quickverse 5.0

I had the same problem [Quickverse 7 on a Vista OS] but my fix was a little longer. On my right click on the icon I didn't get a Compaibility tab. I went down to "properties" then in properties the tab for compatibility shows up. Click on "Run this program as an administrator." This worked fine for me. And this site rocks with so much great information - thanks everyone for your input and for sharing!
