Hp vista and monitor hp2509 was working fine. i uninstalled monitor driver but now computer starts fine but monitor goes blank

Monitor drivers are built into windows OS, you can't uninstall the driver unless you went to devise MGR, monitor, and opened proprieties and hit uninstall, and even then when you restart windows, it will auto reinstall the hardware. So what you're saying does not make sense.

If you reboot and noting, try a system restore, if you have a windows disk, then run repair. But like I said, you don't install monitor drivers, DVD rom drivers, these are generic drivers that are made into windows. If you think a monitor has a driver that needs installing, explain how people install windows if they couldn't see the monitor.

Only onboard video and graph cards need drivers to run the video at its intended resolution, but it does not need a driver for the monitor, it's built into windows.

I need ibm thinkvision lcd 19 driver

Hi Aslam

You don't say what problems you are having with the monitor that you hoped drivers would help to resolve. Add a comment or a clarification request, if necessary, with more information about the actual problem might give you ideas for alternative repair strategies with a higher prospect of success than looking for Drivers.

Most display problems are rooted in either a faulty or incompatible graphics card, corrupt or incorrect graphics drivers, a damaged monitor cable or bent monitor cable connector pins.

A Monitor by itself controls only a very limited set of display properties, such as frame margin position, brightness, colour saturation and colour contrast.

Almost without exception, there are no monitors that require drivers to function with an Operating System. Virtually every monitor works with the Plug and Play .inf drivers built into Operating Systems. The graphics drivers are a totally separate issue from the .inf monitor drivers.

Accessing almost every driver download website that claims to have drivers available for download for specific models of monitor, will result, despite however optimistic the stages at the beginning of the download process might seem, in arriving at the actual driver download page only to find that no drivers are ever available after all. While driver download pages for some monitors might exist, no actual drivers are ever available to download from them.

If there is no physical defect with the button controls on the monitor, you should test the monitor at different graphics resolutions, different refresh rates (both under Graphics card or graphics chip settings), test a different monitor cable and then test a different monitor. These are the only practical options available.

I hope this helps.

I need a new driver for my soyo monitor

Your soyo monitor doesn't require a driver. Make sure you download and install the latest driver for your video card and during the install of that, your monitor should have its drivers installed as well. At that point you'll be able to use your monitor properly. There isn't any drivers available on the net that I could find. Only other option is if your monitor came with a cd, that might have drivers on it.

I lost my drivers

You probably do not need them. At least not for today's operating systems. Maybe you can get one from the manufacturer's website.

You do not need driver for the monitors otherwise I will be real busy downloading the drivers for 2-300 monitors I repair every year, you do need driver for the video card in your PC. The LCD monitor needs to be fed with 60Hz refesh rate set by your PC and the native resolution it needs.

Need Graphics Drivers for Samtron SC-423ps model

For the monitor? In 10 years I've never needed drivers for a monitor, I think you need drivers for your display adapter, check the maker of your computer's website / support - download section for drivers.

Daewoo computer monitor

You need to get your computer in the correct resolution and refresh rate to make the monitor work. It looks like the correct numbers for your monitor are:

Resolution: 1024x768 pixels
Refresh Rate: 60 hz

You can change these settings in the display tab or display properties (In XP - right click desktop, click properties, under settings tab adjust resolution and then click advanced, the monitor tab, and make sure refresh rate is set to 60 hz)

Monitor resolution can't be changed

some 15" monitors do not support 1024 by 768, check your monitor specifications if it does. google on the net with the exact monitor model no. and see if it supports.
