Re: red pixels "noise" that shift around on left side of...

This is a diffusion problem and can be solved by lowering some voltages in the television. Sometimes it is the powersupply though. But you can try adjusting V-SUS and V-SET and V-SCAN for best picture. But you have to switch between light and dark sources to make sure you got it all the way. One quick pattern you can put up is the burn in protection screen. The Wipe one from black to white while adjusting the set. Let me know how this pans out for you. Good luck. Have fun. Jay

I have a line on the left hand side of my plasma, is it worth getting fixed or is it cheaper to buy a new one.

If it's a green line, then it's likely the horizontal positioning is just slightly off. Using your Phillips remote, hit the left side of the circular dial around the "OK" button to move the image a couple of pixels to the left.

Blue Noise/Pixels Bottom Left Corner of my Samsung Plasma

You would need to have a technician remove the back of the TV and make the adjustment. There are 2 small adjusters that they change to adjust the voltage.

Red dots on Maxent 42 inch Plasma

Two things could be causing this problem.

1. You've got dead pixels (in this case, the red dots would not move around and are in fixed to certain pixels.) If that's the case, most manufacturers offer warranty replacements, but I'm not sure about Maxent's, you'll need to go to their website, or read the warrenty information which should have come in the box.

2. You're cable/satellite receiver is acting up, try unplugging your receiver and plugging it in after 10 seconds.

Samsung plasma PS42D5S

You need to adjust the panel voltages, adjust the VS voltage to around 186 volts, if that doesn't change it then adjust the V-Scan voltage down, turn the unit on and apply a video source to it, and while adjusting the voltages look at the screen and you should be abe to watch the video noise fade out.
