Question about HP Pavilion DV4015cl Notebook
I just bought an HP Pavilion desktop computer and during the setup I turned the computer off. After that I found that I wasn't supposed to do that and the blank screens lasting over 10 minutes were normal. Is there anything I can do? I was told recovery disks may work, but I don't have any. Would creating them from a different computer with the same operating system do anything?
Did you buy the computer new? It should have come with recovery disks, also called operations disks. I have had to do this with my hp pavilion lap top a few time over the past few years so that it would run faster. If the recovery disks aren't in there, call the company. They are always supposed to be included. I've always had good luck with hp, you might even go to hp's website. It's really good as well.
