Problem for E-Machines (T2958) PC Desktop
Ok i have windows XP
ok i have windows XP at my job, and im trying to sign in under my user name and password and its saying that my passwords wrong. but its NOT! how can i over ride this issue?

- ok now things are starting to make sense BUT this is not a MAJOR company its a small private storage facility and im the only employee so there is noone to ask! and i didnt have the caps locked on and the first time i tried signing in it said that it wasnt my correct password and i stopped trying so thats not the case either! UGHHHH!! i honestly dont know what to do now! i looked for a tech support number on the tower the keyboard and the screen and cant find one! where do i go from here?!!??Oct 14, 2009
- yes i have a boss but he doesnt know computers or our software any better then i do! i have a computer guy that fixes my issues but i have to set up an apt and he costs ALOT of money so i was trying to work around that.. if thats possible?

If its the boot up password (for windows to start) there is no way to get around it. You have to contact your IT guy there and they can get into the bios and unlock it that way. You may have a tech support hotline to call usually on your computer or nearby..

- IT is information technology. These are the computer geeks that are there for tech support incase something like this happens (every major company has them). The password may not have been change, its possible the caps lock was on or was entered too fast too many times and locked you out and you need to call the IT guys to unlock your password. It happens to the best of us at times.. Ask one of you CO workers if they know the number for your computer tech help desk... Someone knows if not your supervisor. I wouldn't wait too long to do this as they tend to get pretty upset if you don't let them know ASAP...Oct 14, 2009
