Where can I find out why some TV programs are too dark. In office situations, even in daylight some programs are dark. It is not the TV, as commercials are fine. I think they are recording them dark, to save money, as HD requires background have fewer flaws. Sometimes all you can see is the head. Thank you. John Ross Windsor, Nova Scotia

Just swap your Day and night programming over by 12 hours. If it's like the timer you have posted the grey portions refer to the dark periods of the day and the white are a is daylight. I follow the hours around from dark to night in the direction of the arrow until I get to the correct time of day I want to set it for. Good Luck. !
Digital cameras operate on a delayed shutter. Your Camera and flash are not synchronized. Try adjusting flash to a slower speed. Or the cameras Fstop value to get them insync.
If you half push the shutter the rangefinder and focus circuits kick in and will adjust to available light and give you your best picture. Do not ever push the shutter in one step. press it slightly to get the best focus and then push the last millimeter to get the picture!
Yes, if this TV has a bulb it is likely to be the bulb.
I am not familiar with this exact model, but other LCD Projection TV will show dim picture after some time. Expected life of the lamps is about 2yrs. After 2yrs the picture will become dim. After 5yrs I am suprised it is even working.
Dirt doesn't cause this problem unless your are a smoker or have the unit "literally" outside. DO NOT try to clean it or let someone tell you to do it because it will cause more problems than it fixes.
First go to Settings and click the Default Settings, then go to Advance Settings, and click the Use Automatic Settings..sometimes when you use settings and set it manually, the cam goes dark.
