I didn't realise this wasn't multi region when I purchased it. Was more interested in it having DIVX function. Not much good for my region 2 dvd's that were purchased whilst i lived in London.
Any help would be fantastic!

2. Burn image with your favourite recording software to a CD-R/RW.
3. Insert the disc in your LG player.
4. After disc is loaded a menu should appear;
5. Press "0" (=enter new region code), followed by "Pause", as shown on screen.
6. Power off the player and next time it starts it doesn't check the region code. (Tested on a LG DVX276 player)

This should help you...
Using the remote control open tray
Press 0, 0, 0
Region selection will appear.
Select 0 for no region (ie. all regions)
Press pause button on remote control.
Turn Unit off and back on again.
It should now be region free.
Test your disk.

My kids have an LG DV276 player that has worked really well. Today a DVD was loaded into it, "load" came up on the disply and it made all sorts of sounds associated with reading a disk. Nothing happened from there. Nothing loaded, it did not run but it didn't stop. It continued to display "load" and kept reading. Is there a reset or are its problems bigger than this? I have completely unplugged the machine however that did nothing. I have lost the manual so have nothing to reference. Thanks
