from explanation this means that you are trying to charge your razor with another phone charger , it will not work out for them self because they are not compatible .
what you need to get your razor phone is the type of his own charger ,but if you can not fine it own charger then you will have to go the store together with your razor phone then will help in locating it own charger that will work for with out any damage on your phone
you need to find two things the flash file for your exact software version razr and carrier unless gsm. then you need a program called rsd lite to actually flash the phone. or reload the software email me the exact screen display and ill see if i can find links to everything for you.
Hmm... did you drop this in water, or crack the screen? In both cases, you will need a new screen. Remove the little hole covers on the screen. Typically they are located at the corners of the screen. Take a Torx T5 or T6 screwdriver, and start unscrewing till you get to the screen. There, check the ribbon connecting it. If it is loose plug it in more. If that doesn't help, get a new screen from eBay.
this would indicate the lcd ribbon that connects the screen to the motherboard has been damaged or pulled free from the motherboard connector. The screen should light up still if its just cracked [not always, but a majority of the time].
Common failure of RAZR phones. It's not necessarily water damage. I have had two of them die on me that way - there's a very thin ribbon cable that connects the screen to the keypad and brain. Over time, flipping the phone open and closed damages that, and when it breaks, you lose your display. Unless you can micro-solder, you need a new phone.
