Question about Nintendo DS Console

Brand new, not working correctly

Just bought, noticed on some screens the touch screen did not work, but other screens it worked fine. Some games where you MUST use touch screen my son cannot play. Should I take it back to store? Also when I try to calibrate it, it just goes to the same 3 points over and over and over....

If you can, definitely take it back for a working one. the DS probably was faulty out of the factory, it happens.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Does it have an after market plastic cover? If so they sometimes touch one part of the screen making it non responsive. On a day it does work try recalibrating the screen.

sorry to say that your top screen needs completely replacing if it is doing as described!!
the bottom screen and the touch screen are seperate, jus mounted on top of each other, so if the picture works on the bottom then the bottom screen is fine just the touch screen is broken. again i think if the cables/ribbons are in correctly and it isn't responding then it will need replacing!!

I have 10 brand new touch screens here, I can replace your screen and get you going again.
This is a common problem. and it will have to be replaced before it will work again.

Leapster screen not working

Apparantly, the Leapster screen issue is a common problem. While this suggestion is not ethical and since my game was near perfect condition, I went to Wal-Mart and bought a new one of the same color and then returned the broken one.

Kenmore elite microwave touch screen stopped working

Same thing happened to us. We just came back from Sears, where we bought another. Just for giggles, my wife suggested unplugging the old one and plugging it back in again. It works now. New one's going back to the store.

Ds touch screen

Two choices. One: If your console still has a warranty, then send it in to Nintendo for repair. Two: Search Ebay or another website for replacement touch screens, and buy one. Open up the console, amd replace the faulty touch screen with the brand new touch screen. Then put the console back together.

You're going to have to send it in for repair. It sounds like it's out of warranty, which is unfortunate.
