You can download the full driver from the link below PS. the drivers CD comes with the label Windows only works on windows platform, for Mac Os you need to install from other cd or you can download the drivers from the link below

in order to scan from frontpanel of teh printer we need to install the full fetaure drivers for hp psc 1315xi for win 7.

Did you upgrade from windows XP to Windows Vista with this Laptop?  If so, did you check with the manufacturers' website to see if you need to install new software/drivers for this printer?

Don't buy the warranty since this printer will not scan on a 10.5 OS. Your mac is too new for your printer and the leopard system has built in drivers so you are able to print. The downloaded drivers on the website are for 10.3.9 and 10.4 and you have leopard (10.5) so they will not be compatible with each other.

I would try and call hp and see if they have any upgrade units available. Almost all there units currently being sold are currently compatible with 10.5 from a downloaded driver. They are usually refurbished but they come with a 1 yr warranty and are significantly cheaper than buying a new unit from the store.
