Could be a bad battery or charging circuits of motherboard. If laptop boots up when plugged in check under your control panel for power options then look to see if it shows charging. If it shows your charging but the battery doesnt charge then you have a bad battery
First, make sure that if your iTunes version is high enough to fit the version of your iPhone. About charging, I think it means the output current of your charger is to low to charge and run your iPhone at the same time. If you are using digital products frequently, you can try to get a dual USB output external power supple, which hold on 2 type of output current 1A for common cell phone, 2.1 A for iPad, Pad PC and some device which need high charge current
When you connect the power adapter into the laptop, does the power LED light up? If not then - The battery adapter or the adapter's power lead or the laptop's power socket could be faulty. Check power adapter's DC plug that connects into the laptop power socket with a multi-meter, the voltage should be slightly higher than the voltage that is printed on the label on the bottom of the adapter. If the voltage is zero or way below the voltage that is printed on the label then the power adapter is faulty and needs to be replaced. If the adapter is OK then connect it to the laptop and power it up, then look at the power/battery charging LED light and wriggle the power plug in the laptop's power socket. If the power/battery LED light flashes and in a certain position this LED light stays firm, then the power socket is either faulty or it has a dry solder joint where it is connected to the motherboard. This can be repaired but it requires the laptop to be completely dismantled to get at this power socket and repair. If you cannot DIY then I suggest you get a quote first.
If you have not already done so, install the software on your laptop which came with your ipod.
With your new ipod there will be a USB cable, simply plug that into a USB port found at the side of your laptop and then connect the other end into your ipod. This will then start charging for you.
Mabe where the battery and the pc connects has gotten lint or dirt in it where it isnt completly touching eachother, i had this happen on my old laptop and for an easy fix it would be great...hope that is all and not something expensive... Good Luck :)
Try to connect the AC adaptor of your laptop and plug it to the wall outlet and let it charge for 3 hours or more. When you plug it on the wall socket, it won't show the laptop's led blinking since it was totally drained. But after 3 minutes or more, it will start to show the blinking led to indicate charging. When blinking stops led light disappears, it is fully charged and ready to use.
Remember: Do not use your laptop while it is plugged in to save your battery life. When at home, remove the battery while it is fully charged and plug the AC adaptor directly to the wall outlet. It will still work without the battery as long as it is plugged directly to the wall socket.
if it is new you have to set it up with your zune software. if it died then you have to plug it in for a little while until it charges a little. hope it helps.
if you are using XP,install ACTIVE SYNC 4.5. if you are using VISTA or WINDOWS 7, no need any sync software. plug in the HTC to your laptop. right click on MY COMPUTER and select MANAGE. in the window that appears now, on the left hand side select DEVICE MANAGER. now on the right hand side see if you have any yellow colour icons. if YES,try to update the drivers. if nothing works out, try another PHONE to connect and use your phone to connect to another laptop. atleast this will give some idea as where the problem lies
This camera is compatible with vista and you dont need any software for this camera to work on vista, its plug in play device. When you connect the camera to your computer it should show up as removable disc under my computer. If its not showing up please try connecting the camera into different usb port and make sure your laptop is fully charged.It will work.
