Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-P200 Digital Camera
I am using a "SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-P200 7.2". When I plug it into my powerbook to download photos the memory stick icon isn't coming up... it seems to be intermittant.. or was... now it isn't being recognized on either laptop. Please advise. The photos can be seen on my camera but I have not been able to download them. I've been using this camera or a slightly order version for three years so I am very familiar with its protocols!
If you haven't been using the "safely remove hardware" procedure you may be damaging either your stick, your computer's ability to read it, or both. Try reading it on another computer. The same thing happened to my flash drive. It began to work intermittantly, so I replaced it. I now use the "safely remove hardware" procedure and have yet to have any more problems. I replaced my flash drive, you may need to replace the stick, but format it in the camera to see if this helps.
