When I use the Sansa Media Converter for music videos, the program appears to complete the conversion and the transfer to the device. But when I go to the player, the videos will be located in Photo>View Photo List>Video. When I click on the title of the video, I get the following message: "Please use Sansa Media Converter to convert this photo file," though I'm not sure that was the exact phrase, word for word. Well, that's redundant. I HAD used the converter, and it misplaced the files. Drag-and-drop doesn't work: the files will take up memory space but won't show up at all. Please help!

Try to Re-Install The SMC. If that doesnt Work then:
Formatt your player. Warning: IT will delete Everything. Then it should work. Then Reload songs. and/or Videos.
Or download the Latest Firmware to it. I think it is 1.02.23 For America. you can get it at www.sandisk.com or just google it. Hope that works.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

I used the Sansa Media Converter and the files DID transfer to the e250r, I can see them in Computer\Sansa e250\Internal Memory\Video. BUT, they do not show up at all in BestBuy Digital Store. AND when accessed through the Sansa Player the files are in a submenu of the Photo Viewer and not recognized as video, thus the suggestion to convert to jpg. AND the Video folder is EMPTY (on the player, but not when accessed through the computer)
the sansa e250 can't recognize any video file converted by smc software
i have the same problem and i haven't found the solution for 1 week i've search the internet for answers...
i put the picture files on the device and it acknowledged their existance but when i use the device to view them it tells me i must convert them how do i do this ?
how do you download videos onto the sansa e250? what are the steps?
what do i use to download window media, quick time what
Yep, the same goes to me. Can't watch my converted videos (by sansa converter) on my sandisk sansa e250 v2. Please help someone!
