My GE Washer overflows about every 3rd or 4th load. I have read a fixya recommendation and took the front off the washer (been trying to figure that one out for years, thanks!) and find that the small tube itself is clean, and blowing into it clicks the switch, but the small reservoir at the end of it is about half full of gunk. This suggests to me that the volume of water for the switch is less than it should be, resulting in early overflow. So how to clean the gunk out of that reservoir? there is no entry point it seems, to that small tank except for the hose entry on top, and the reservoir does not seem to come off the side of the tank cylinder.
