SOURCE: how to delete??

All Right, Hot Pokie, you have to use the synchro function on WMP or Go to My Computer if the former doesn't work. Plug you Sansa In and It will show up as a MTP player ( If you Dont have it showed up set it to MSC in Options) Go to Media then music then browse until you find the song and kill it by right clicking and selecting DELETE. This may mess your songs if you don't do it right and if that happens I am a jibbering idiot. JK. Go to Recovery mode as shown in Fixya. Hammervich Amerikov. See ya and thanks! SOURCE: how do you delete genres off your mp3 player?

Simple. If you want to delete a certain tune do the following: 1. Connect it to the coputer. 2. Click on "My computer" 3. Click on the Sansa icon 4. Browse the folders and delete the files you don't want. If you want to delete the entire disk 1. Connect it to the computer. 2. Click on "My computer" 3. Right Click on the sansa 4. Click on Format. Let me know if it helped. D.

SOURCE: I get the error when I try to sync songs from napster to my sansa m250

some wma's or music service's subscription files are not supported by this device

use mp3 format, and you'll never go wrong

SOURCE: my sansa e250 is saying

It means that something has changed with the authentication of the song and you need to connect it to your computer so that it can reauthorize the song. It has to do with copyright which is a whole other posting. I am assuming this is a song that you purchased off Rhapsody or a similar service. If it is a subscription service you can erase the song on your player and download it again. Just make a comment if you need more help.

Limewire 5.0 sucks!

There are several things that I can see that might be driving your mp3 player haywire:
A) About 1/3 of Limewire songs contained some type of writing in the "Comments" section of the songs' ID3 Tags before version 5 - it may be up to 100% now, and your player obviously doesn't like it. This is going to be a real bear, but I would take one of the songs you just downloaded, open it in Windows Media Player, and right-click the song title within Windows Media Player. Select "Advanced Tag Editor," and delete any writing that appears in the "Comments" section of the ID3 tag. Then try transferring that song to your player and see if it plays correctly. If it does, repeat with all of the songs you just downloaded. It will take you forever.

B) If you use iTunes to transfer songs to your mp3 player, version 5 will not work with iTunes - it simply pastes a data file into iTunes which is not the actual song, so it may appear to transfer correctly, but in fact you have not transferred the actual song file. Use Windows Media Player to transfer instead.

C) The bitrate on songs in version 5 is higher - most mp3 players have a maximum bit rate that they can handle, and ver. 5 might exceed this upper limit. The solution would be to convert all of your mp3 files to a lower bit rate using free software such as Media Monkey.

Without dragging this explanation out any longer, I think your best solution would be to revert back to Ver. 4.1 or so.

Good luck!

Hi i have iPod nano (gray) 8 gb mp4/wma/rec/amv. i don't know how to use it i didn't recieve any instructions with it and i don't know how to use the itunes website. can you send me the instructions for...

Hi! You want to use itunes website to buy songs and games or you want to use itunes for syncronizing your songs in ipod. If you want to add songs and other stuff to your ipod then download the itunes from and install it. After installing the ipod connect the ipod with the computer.

After connecting the ipod with the PC it will automatically detect your ipod. And then add your favourite songs to your ipod by dragging them into the library or by importing them into library from file tab.

Problem adding songs

Either get a new version of this song (meaning get a different file with the same song you chose) or keep trying to syncronize it on the sansa.

Your ilo should've come with a disc. That disc should install windows media for you. You can't put music onto it without windows media.
