i just found out that to delete songs, you have to go onto my computer and click the my music file and then all of the music shows up and you can delete whatever ones you want.

SOURCE: how to delete??
All Right, Hot Pokie, you have to use the synchro function on WMP or Go to My Computer if the former doesn't work. Plug you Sansa In and It will show up as a MTP player ( If you Dont have it showed up set it to MSC in Options) Go to Media then music then browse until you find the song and kill it by right clicking and selecting DELETE. This may mess your songs if you don't do it right and if that happens I am a jibbering idiot. JK. Go to Recovery mode as shown in Fixya. Hammervich Amerikov. See ya and thanks! Simple. If you want to delete a certain tune do the following: 1. Connect it to the coputer. 2. Click on "My computer" 3. Click on the Sansa icon 4. Browse the folders and delete the files you don't want. If you want to delete the entire disk 1. Connect it to the computer. 2. Click on "My computer" 3. Right Click on the sansa 4. Click on Format. Let me know if it helped. D.

You can use either windows xp or vista for your device...You need to download the napster application from www.napster.com
then you need to make your sure device is on MTP mode..by going under tools, menu, usb mode and select MTP or auto mode...then after that you should be able to use it..Let me know if you need any additional help..
