there is a slide cover at the bottom of remote control. slide downside to open and then you will find a battery logo and a direction sign at the left bottom. do as what it shows and you will find battery compartment. good luck - annie
Most universal remotes work on a small portion of TVs in the market place. And if it does work, they are limited. Because the universal remote cannot control the full functions of the TV.
Like menus, screen modes,close captions, and etc.
Best thing to have is the original remote.

Remove the door panel, then remove the speaker inside the door opposite the mirror itself.Then it is usually an allen key bolt or 3 depending on the year. It will come off as one big unit.

as far as i know those cameras do not have sound but they do have a mic. Try making a video,make some noise and put the video on your comp,from there it should be as clear as a bell.
