Holmes HASF-99 10-Inch Velocity Blizzard Stand Fan needs reipair

Hi there! We have Holmes HASF-9 10 inch Velocity Blizzard Stand Fan. One of my son's birthday balloons got sucked into it and the streamer ribbons is wrapped around the blades and motor. We can find no way of getting the front or back off to remove the ribbon. Is there anyway to do this without damaging the fan. There seems to be no screws to remove, it seems like it is just glued on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I downloaded the owners manual from but did not see how to undo the grill. However if you go to (the fans official site) you should be able to ask them on what to do.

I need A 9 inch fan blade for my Massey fan 9

Did you contact the manufacturer or manufacture's fan replacement parts center?
If you're thinking of having one made, I'm sure it would be far cheaper to replace the entire thing, (or maybe find a similar fan and use its blades so they are more balanced).
Or try ebay.

Why is my Holmes HASF-1710 not getting power

This may be a duplicate post but here's my advice. Do a little disassembly to get to the "guts" of the fan. It is not uncommon for the speed control switch to break in such a way as to not allow the circuit to be completed. You may have to actually remove the switch and inspect it to be sure of this. I've had trouble finding replacement switches so I have put them back together with superglue. If this is your problem and you choose to use this solution just be sure all the switch parts get put back where they belong. If this is not your problem, break out the ohm meter and start checking your connections. Hope this helps

Firstly please make sure that you connecting wire in not cut at any where and connection is good.
If your connection is ok then also it doesn't rotates then might be your coil has been burned and you need to replace its wiring and check the starter

I just bought a Holmes 16 inch stand fan HSF1610A I only use it to sleep. Only have had it for about 2-3 weeks. I have not had a problem with it til I woke up this morning to it not working. It still...

First smell the fan, If you get burning smell then you need to send it for warranty repairs or to a repair shop. If no burning smell then check the electric cable for connectivity. Most probably it has gone bad and it's easy to repair. For checking it you need a electrical tester or multimeter.
