Depending on your cell phone and cell phone provider, there may be a formating issue, you should try to send it to a PC using a bluetooth dongle and test the file to ensure it is working

Step 1: Powering on Bluetooth
First off, we will need to power your Bluetooth antenna on. To do this, please complete the following: Go to the Main Menu (by pressing the Menu key on your phone Go to the Settings button (usually looks like a wrench and screwdriver Scroll down to "Connections" and press the Enter button (usually in the center of the multidirectional mouse. What are you trying to send? Picture, video, ringtone, app? For a ringtone, go to the Media Finder, select ringtones, then "All Ringtones" and scroll to the one you want to send. Hit "options" and scroll to the option "Send" Select "Send" and one option should be "send Via Bluetooth"

firstly LG phones are well known for having a lot of problems, including music and picture transfer. I have an Lg platinum and it took me days to find out how to transfer things on to it. When transfering music make sure it is in MP3 format otherwise it won't show up on your cell phone.
