MyPal A626 won't turn on after attempted (and failed) firmware update
I tried updating the firmware on the A626, but it got stuck, so I reset it. But when I reset it, it would no longer turn on anymore. It would only stay on the ASUS welcome screen. I tried clean-resetting it but it didn't work. I also tried clean-resetting it while plugged into the computer, and I got a screen saying:
ASUS Cannes ver. 08270700
Probing USB Interface >>> USB Cable connected. Waiting for download!
does anybody know what's wrong and how I can get it to work again?

Hi, I helped a friend of mine with his wifi setup. His WEP Key was on the side of his router. I don't remember the exact work but it was something Key. It was 10 numbers long just right for a 64 bit key. If you are using Win XP there is a wifi setup in there. I have a mypal A626 and had it up and running in a few minutes on my wifi system. If you have security, you will need to find the code in order to get a connection. grader01
