Re: protron

My remote has a button called CC . nothing happens . I use the menu to go to setup and CC mode is listed, but is not an option to choose... my girlfriend is deaf, and having her read the movie would be great.... does anyone know the customer service number?

Re: protron

There should be a button on your remote control marked CC or CCD or SUBTITLE - press that until you see the term OFF on your screen - if that does not work call customer service

Closed caption

Closed caption wont turn off was solved by Bresnan tech. He told me the only way was to push the power button on my remote & then push the menu button right away & it would bring up a white screen & cc would be on it. I could't get it to work so I pushed the power button on my remote & the menu button on my motorola cable box & up came the screen & closed caption was on it. I disabled it & it took off the closed caption. Hope this helps
