My TV turns on with a alot of colored vertical

My TV turns on with a alot of colored vertical lines. After it is on for about 15 minutes, you can turn it off and then back on and everything is okay. What is wrong with it?

convergance issue. Possibly bad high voltage transformer or a bad capaictor or IC or STK depending on what type of tv you have. If projection, then STK, if lcd or plasma, then it is an IC

Take the backcover off turn it on take back side of the screw driver tap it around see where the colors flicker u know which boards cause that prob.15 mins turn off back on it ok,a intermittant prob.that the best way to solved it,u can change the bad board after that.
