Thanks for using FixYa. The fuzzy lines are due to loose connections on the HDMI cable connection. Try using a different HDMI cable as the cable might be cut or stripped from somewhere or its internal shielding might be cut. If replacing the cable doesn't help then it is due to faulty high definition converter IC on the tuner board. You might need to get the OC replaced. Try and run the tv for 4-5 hours continuously and check if the lines disappear, if yes then it is due to burnt resistors/capacitors on the tuner board.
Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Trying to hook up an iMac to an Insignia HDTV. Have mini DVI to DVI converter and DVI to HDMI adaptor. Video works fine using any HDMI port. For audio I have a cord that connects iMac audio port to dual channel audio which fits in the audio ports for component 1 or component 2 or av1 or av2. Sound works fine when appropriate input is selected on TV. Problem is audio and video don't work at the same time. Is there a way to tell TV to take audio from one source and video from another?

On normal screen size, I lose about 6 inches of the screen, but the picture is good. In every other mode, either the picture is too big or people on screen don't look normal. Is this normal, or is there a solution? Thank you

We have sound but no picture. Screen is flat grey on channel 3 or 4 when we change to channel 6, then we have snowy screen. This 32 in LCD is watched in bedroom using RF Modulator from the Satellite TV in living room. I would like to fix it myself if possible... Mrs. R. Harris
