Hi, and thanks for your time.
I have a problem with a ZyXEL G570S (NOT version 2) and a Dell 1720 (1397 minicard)as follows:
While everything works perfectly when using the WPA mode, the association is refused in WPA2 mode.
The italian Dell Support suggests a compatibility issue as a possible ZyXEL problem, is anybody aware of such a problem?
I've installed the latest Dell drivers with no success.
Sorry for my english, I'm italian.....

There are several different types of both WPA and WPA2. If you are using a "Pre-Shared Key", make sure you are selecting "WPA2 Personal". If you use any other type of WPA2, it is going to begin looking for certificates installed on your mobile device/PC, and also ask for a RADIUS/AAA (802.1x) authentication server, which I'm assuming you don't want.

Have you tried upgrading the firmware or changing the WPA2-PSK settings on the ZyXEL?
