Have kenmore model# 58714249990. it won't drain

Hi,
The first thing to check is that the drain line isn't kinked. If it goes into the drain under your sink. Check that the garbage disposal isn't clogged (run it once with half a sink full of water). Check the drain vent for clogs ( its the black plastic piece of pipe that runs up and down near the back under the sink.
