My dell Inspiron 1525 4,5,t,r,f,g,v And d keys are not working. can anyone ... If a group of keys fails it usually means that the keyboard matrix is broken. ... I have a dell vostro 3400, and I can connect to any wifi network, and while ... to it, but they cannot get internet through it (even when my laptop gets it ... but I have no idea how to access the log it should produce... any ideas? .... The most common Access Bios key is the "DEL" button or "F2". This depends on the laptop model, however, and can be confusing if you do not know which key to press.

Laptops Access Bios Settings Key

press and hold the "SHIFT" key with the "?" symbol usually on the same key as the "/"(Forward Slash)........ The Right-Shift Button is actually right next to the Question mark.

THe shify Key is also used to type other symbols found on other keys and are usually displayed on the upper side of the keys. When holding shift you will get the special symbols that appears on that key.

You can try popping them off and blowing the dust accumulated from underneath. If that does not work you may need to replace the keyboard.

Not sure what you mean about Red colored keys. There are White and Blue colored keys on many Dell laptops. In order to use the Blue keys you have to hold down the <FN> key next to the space bar to use the Blue keys.

I would suggest you call Dell Support and get the laptop replaced. If any of the keys are not working, it is not a good idea to manually open the key board and try to fix.

You have to go to (winkey)- xto get to the Windows Mobility Center and in the function key row, select Function Key instead of Multimedia key. This should reverse the Fn problem.

Some keys on my fujitsu lifebook stopped working so temporarily solved problem by plugging in a desktop keyboard to the usb port.

pressn the eject key a triangular mark is there on top of the key board.if it dosen;t work, please intall "quick dell" uttility software from "Dell" website.

Press shift + numlock key. This will return the FN key to it's normal functionality, only working when you press it.
