A friend has a problem that if the Lexmark X3470 printer is connected and whether it is turned on or off, then the PC will not boot. Unplug either the printers power lead or the usb cable and once the PC is restarted it boots. You can then plug the printer in to use it. The latest printer drivers have been installed correctly with A/V off and the PC is a 2 year old Fujitsu running Windows XP all fully up to date. Different USB cables have been tried also to no avail. It has never worked as it should from the start. It was OK with a previous printer.
