Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
I bought an imported xbox 360 from USA and when I connected to UK power supply through a converter the xbox would power up for a few seconds then when it started to search for a channel or the dvd drive was opened it would shut down. After a few tries a red light would appear on the power pack and refuse to start.I thought it may be a faulty converter so I replaced that but the same thing happened again. I noticed that the two converters were hot when I plugged them out.Can I use a UK spec pwer brick to run my US console or is it only US power bricks through a converter that is suitable. Anyone help?!!
Yeah you definitly need to have a uk to usa power converter. you guys run on 220V which would create way more current then needed which is why the power supply blew. I hope you didnt fry any internal parts in the 360. You need to get a power converter that gives you 120V.

It would be too much voltage, not too much current, voltage and current are inversely related therefore, there wouldn't be enough current
