IBM Selectric II Correcting won't stop scr...

I bought this from a gentleman on craigslist a few hours ago. So far, here's what I've done:

Initially, I had some trouble powering the typewriter on. I removed the case and fiddled with the motor and it started.

Now, the scroller will not stop scrolling. Also, some of the keys are depressed. I have hitherto been familiar with manual typewriters, and the electric typewriter is a new business for me. I hate to ask a simple question, but I can't figure out how to get the keys unstuck and the scroller to stop scrolling. Please help!
