Question about Panasonic PT-61G54 61" Rear Projection Television
When I turn on the TV. if I am watching a show or movie and it is in the daylight on the scene I am veiwing it is ok but the darks are too dark.. If it is a night scene thenthe entire scene is very hard to see..
Someone said that the projectors need cleaning but I wiped them off with a very soft dry cloth and it did not cahnge a thing.
I have the Brightness adjusted all the way up.
is this something I can fix? and is there anything I can clean the projectors with that is safe. If not how much would this repair run me..
The mirror should also be cleaned. but there is more adjustments that can bring up brightnes ie G2 on the flyback transformers but that is some thing a tech should do. Because you have to ad enough of each color to get a gray scale. if you are off the picture will be tinted and your color will be way off.
