I regret to inform you that the Lexmark X75 printer is not compatible with Windows Vista operating system. It works on Windows XP and previous Windows versions only.
I would like to inform you that X73 printer is not compatible with Windows Vista OS and there are no driver available. However, if you are a US citizen then you may contact Lexmark chat or email support and they will give you 20% discount if you purchase a new Lexmark printer.
Although Lexmark has not released a Windows Vista driver for the
Lexmark X75 printer, there is a good chance that Vista will support
your printer without the need for installing a driver (i.e. Windows
Vista probably comes with a driver for your printer already built into
the operating system). Windows Vista comes with support for 2.2 million
devices and since your printer is not a new model, it is likely to be
supported. Just try connecting it to a computer that is running Windows
Vista and see if it is detected and installed for you.
We do have the drivers for Windows 2000 and Windows XP available for download from our driver database:
You will be having a USB cable that connects the printer to your PC or notebook. I believe you have an internet connection that is always on. Once you connect the printer to the PC or notebook and if you have windows vista, the printer software will be automatically downloaded and installed. If you are not using Windows Vista, here are some links for the printer drivers.
Hi more than likely the drivers that came with your printer are not compatible with Windows Vista, below is a link for the X3350 but at present they don't seem to have the X75 Vista drivers listed. If you email their support your should be able to request the driver.
Have link but it won't let me post it
Let me know how you go

Not really, If you like vista and dont want poxy xp back, then from vista install using Microsoft Virtual machine Windows XP, thiscanrun from within a window like any other app, just intall the bare stuff, and install theprogram you use to print from, and then install your printer, easy.
But ultimatley the 3rd party vendors do need to keep upwith the times, most other makes of printer will working without downloading any other driver, but Lexmark make there money on inks not printers, so they dont really care at the end of the day.
Just install VM ware or similar, install XP and printer, and your sorted.
